Biography - I have been observing the effects of weathering and erosion in the local landscape. Grasses, twigs and earth pigments are used in prints and paintings. Other influences are the traces that people and animals leave; a clearly marked trail or strands of barbed wire in the hedgerow.

Biography - Bailey loves working with colour. Her main medium is hand made felt which is always dyed for the specific piece of work. At the present time Bailey is working on a theme of 'Gardens' and 'Homelands', getting together several pieces of work for both of these. The technique used is felt with cotton or nylon backing with cotton or viscose appliqué, the fabrics are pieced together, then dyed. Some additional stitch by hand or machine is added after the dye process is completed.
